Why does Sadhguru want to give an award to the wife of Ram Charan for not having a baby?

 


Apollo Hospitals Vice-Chairperson Upasana Kamineni Konidela is a successful businesswoman. Her strong relationship with actor-husband Ram Charan for over a decade now has made the duo the most-admired celeb couples in the film industry

Despite a number of achievements to her credit, she revealed that she often gets asked about 'when' she is having a baby and 'why' she hasn't one yet.



Earlier this week, Kamineni Konidela struck up a conversation with Sadhguru and shared the societal pressure every woman experiences in her life and life decisions.

During the 17th American Telugu Association (ATA) Conference & Convention, she told the yogi that people always find it is their 'duty' to question her life, relationships

With a reference to her husband's blockbuster film 'Roar Rise Revolt', the businesswoman said, "... Why do people find it their duty to question my 'RRR'.".



Explaining the RRRs of her life, the 32-year-old said that it stands for 'relationship', her ability to 'reproduce', and her 'role' in life. "There are so many women like me who would want an answer to this," she stressed.

While Sadhguru said he would like to leave the 'relationship' out of the discussion, he shared his views on what he feels when people comment on her ability to 'reproduce'.

Impressed by Kamineni Konidela's decision to not have a child yet, Sadhguru said that he would give her an award if she decides to not have a baby.
